Welcome! AK Educational Consulting is your partner throughout the educational process. We are a nationally recognized organization that specializes in helping students and professionals achieve their educational and personal goals. Services include secondary school, college and post-graduate placement all the way through the many facets of choosing, applying and changing schools.

College and University: From the first day of ninth grade until your student is accepted to college and has chosen their home for the following year, we will work with you to make sure that your student shines for the college admissions committee. Support includes counseling related to college choice and application, college transfers, and appropriate post-secondary placement.

Services include:

  • Initial consultation with family and student –advice related to extracurricular commitments, course selection, test prep advice and goal setting
  • Ongoing meetings and communication on an “as needed basis”
  • Compiling an appropriate list of colleges or post-secondary options, including advice related to working with those institutions
  • Interviewing techniques
  • NCAA advice for student-athletes
  • Support throughout the college application process, including brainstorming ideas for college essays*
*AK Educational Consulting will not write essays for college or post-high school admission, but can offer recommendations for assistance with college essays.
